This collection of imagery has little to do with the commercial work on this site, but is instead a visual journal of observations and things I have found along the way while at work or leisure. In a sense this is a form of escapism for me - perhaps even a subconcious attempt to cleanse my thinking of the glossy and hyper-sensory external facades we are constantly bombarded with in our routines. My interest in this lack of viscera is a moment of clarity for me personally and a return to an honest understanding and simplicity. Some might disagree with this perspective and just see these as an archive that lies flat, but memories and art are personal which is what I love about photography.
